Last May, a group of Tembusu kids descended onto the picturesque island of Tioman. Offtrek’s first overseas expedition saw the Tembusu group hike from the town of Air Batang northward to Salang. The hike covered almost 8km with over 400m (Bukit Timah hill is 164m) of climbing through the rugged hilly coastline of northern Tioman.

Offtrek is an adhoc interest group founded by Year 2 students, Zhi Min and Clara Lim, who came together with a vision of trying to engage the Tembusu community in outdoor activities such as trekking.
