I\u2019m in a relationship with Fire-alarm (F),
\nThough lately, things have not been well.
\nI said: \u201cSleep is just a friend,\u201d but F didn\u2019t believe me.
\nRight at the best part of our conversation,
\nI remember, \u2018cuz it was so abrupt,
\nF came charging into the hallways,
\nInto the room where Sleep and I sat,
\nButchering our two forty-five H-T-H-T;
\nDemanding that I leave for Town Green;
\nWarning me that if I continued,
\nI\u2019d regret, for I was unprotected;
\nShouting at me to pull away from Sleep,
\nBefore things got any hotter,
\nBefore it got any harder
\nTo leave.<\/p>\n
And I replied: \u201cCan\u2019t you just give me one good night?\u201d
\n\u201cWe were having such a deep connection.\u201d<\/p>\n
But that didn\u2019t help \u2013 and reluctantly,
\nI walked out,
\nFrustrated by this awful two forty-five affair.<\/p>\n
